MACKESTER® glycol esters are used as pearlizing agents in surfactant systems such as hand soaps, shampoos and body wash. They are also used as emulsifiers in lotions, creams, and hair conditioners.


MACKESTER®

DePHOS™ 8038 is the acid form of an anionic phosphate ester-based surfactant. It is dispersible in water but becomes fully soluble when neutralised. In aqueous solutions DePHOS™ 8038 exhibits excellent wetting and dispersing properties and, when neutralised with amines and alkanolamines, has good corrosion inhibiting properties for ferrous metals. It also acts as a low foam detergent and wetting agent stable in alkaline solutions. In both aqueous and non-aqueous applications DePHOS™ 8038 acts as a dispersant and anti-wear additive. INC 45701 - is a clear to slightly hazy, colorless to yellow aqueous solution. It is an advanced high basicity aluminum-based coagulant and flocculant for the treatment of industrial process water and wastewater. INC 2214 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate is a high-calcium tolerant phosphonate scale inhibitor intermediate neutralized to a pH of 2.5. Formulations based on INC 2214 are extremely tolerant to high Calcium brines. Generally, phosphonate scale inhibitors will tend to form Calcium Phosphate when injected into produced waters containing more than about 6,000 mg./L. of Calcium. However, INC 2214 has been observed to tolerate 350,000 mg./L. of Calcium without precipitating out of solution. Primarily intended for Calcium Carbonate inhibition, INC 2214 also shows activity inhibiting Calcium Sulfate scale, and good performance inhibiting Barium Sulfate.

INC 2217 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate is a specialty phosphonate designed for treatment of oilfield water systems with tendencies towards deposition of divalent cation scales. INC 2217 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate may be used to formulate finished products to aid in inhibiting the formation and subsequent deposition of Calcium and Magnesium Carbonate salts, along with Calcium, Barium and Strontium Sulfate. Formulations based on INC 2217 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate will tolerate moderate amounts of Calcium in solution.

INC 2216 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate is a high-calcium tolerant phosphonate scale inhibitorintermediate neutralized to a pH of 7. Formulations based on INC 2216 are extremely tolerant to high Calcium brines. INC 2277 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate is a phosphate ester product developed for scale inhibitor formulations. This product is supplied as the unneutralized organic acid for preparation of neutral salts by the formulator.Finished formulations made with INC 2277 will provide inhibition of Calcium Carbonate and Calcium or Barium Sulfate scales at concentrations between 0.5 to 10 ppm, depending on the severity of the scale problem.

INC 2244 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate is an aqueous solution of a partially neutralized low molecular weight polyacrylic acid for use in scale inhibitor formulations. INC 2244 will inhibit both carbonate and sulfate scale by stopping nucleation and crystal growth. Effective scale control results at concentrations from 5 to 20 ppm of INC 2244, with 6 to 10 ppm being generally considered to be a safe level. INC 2244 formulations are effective in prevention of all types of calcium scales and will inhibit deposition of barium sulfate scale where inorganic and organic phosphates fail to perform. INC 2244 is also an excellent choice for scale squeeze applications, with a temperature stability in excess of 400 ºF. The life expectancy of a squeeze has historically lasted about one year. INC 2244 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate is field-titratable, which results in extremely fast and easy residual determinations.

MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB is a light coloured, yet economic grade of Cocamidopropyl Betaine. It is based on a fully hydrogenated fatty source, has no unsaturation and its colour and odour are minimized. MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB provides excellent viscosity building and foam boosting to anionic based cleansers. In shampoo formulations it contributes to hair ‘manageability’. MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB is stable and efficacious over a broad pH range and is compatible with anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants. It contributes to mildness and is readily biodegradable. A cost effective betaine that does not contain any preservative. MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB is RSPO Mass Balance certified.
