MACKAM® OIP 40 is a 40% active aqueous solution of low molecular weight salt-free amphoteric surfactant. It effectively couples nonionic surfactants in systems with high electrolyte levels. This low foaming product offers good detergency in high cloud point systems and is soluble in ethanolic and isopropanolic solutions, as well as water, providing significant wetting contact angle reduction. MACKAMIDE® LPA FLAKES is a high-purity monoisopropanolamide designed for use in household and cosmetic formulations. DePHOS™ QSA-90 is a 75% active, high-foaming anionic phosphate ester in free acid form. It provides economical surfactant properties, including detergency, emulsification, and wetting, and can be used as a 1:1 replacement for more expensive 100% active phosphate esters. DePHOS™ QSA-90 is soluble in water, alcohols, and glycols, and dispersible in aliphatic, aromatic, and chlorinated solvents, but insoluble in mineral oil and other oils. MACKAMINE® C 14 E is a light-colored amine oxide that offers moderate foam boosting and foam stability. It is compatible with most surfactants and, due to the absence of amide or ester groups, will not hydrolyze in acidic systems. MACKAMINE® C 14 E is also stable in alkaline products and has an intermediate molecular weight. Amine oxides can be formulated with anionic, nonionic, and cationic products, exhibiting mild cationic properties under acidic conditions. They are commonly used in shampoos, bubble baths, hand soaps, and conditioners for their conditioning, foam stabilizing, and viscosity building properties. Lower alkyl chain products provide good foam boosting and stabilization, while higher molecular weight amine oxides offer softness and conditioning. MACKAMINE® C 14 E, being higher in molecular weight than lauramine oxide, enhances viscosity building properties, making it particularly effective in thickened hypochlorite systems. MACKAMIDE® C is produced from a 1:1 reaction of pure coconut oil, containing a small amount of residual glycerin. It is a high-active, readily biodegradable liquid at room temperature, facilitating easy handling during manufacturing.
