MACKAM® 50 ULB is a high-active grade of cocamidopropyl betaine derived from a low color and odor vegetable feedstock. It is approximately 25% more concentrated than standard CAPB grades, which inhibits microbial growth, removing the need for preservatives. MACKAM® 50 ULB is stable across a broad pH range and compatible with both anionic and cationic surfactants. It enhances viscosity and boosts foam in anionic-based cleansers. MACKAMINE® C 14 E is a light-colored amine oxide that offers moderate foam boosting and foam stability. MACKAMINE® C 14 E is also stable in alkaline products and has an intermediate molecular weight. Amine oxides can be formulated with anionic, nonionic, and cationic products, exhibiting mild cationic properties under acidic conditions. Lower alkyl chain products provide good foam boosting and stabilization, while higher molecular weight amine oxides offer softness and conditioning.
