MACKAM® 50 OC is a high-active grade of cocamidopropyl betaine, made from low-color, low-odor vegetable feedstock. It is approximately 25% more concentrated than standard grades, making it resistant to microbial growth and eliminating the need for preservatives. MACKAM® 50 OC offers excellent stability across a broad pH range and is compatible with both anionic and cationic surfactants. It is commonly used in oral care formulations as a milder alternative to sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or when SLS is incompatible with other active ingredients.
