Chemically classified as an alkoxylated carboxylate, it is suitable only for alkaline systems and is not recommended for use in acidic systems. DeTERIC™ CP-Na-38 is a high-foaming, modified C8-12 sodium salt of carboxylated propionate. It is an amphoteric surfactant stable across a wide pH range, suitable for acid, neutral, and alkaline formulations. It offers excellent detergency, good wetting properties, and compatibility with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants. DeTERIC™ CP-Na-38 is soluble in water, alcohols, and glycols, but insoluble in oils and solvents. MACKAM® H2C-HA is a high-foaming amphoteric surfactant ideal for hydrotroping nonionic surfactants into alkaline systems. It is stable across the entire pH range and compatible with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants. With an excellent biodegradability profile, MACKAM® H2C-HA is well-suited for hard surface cleaners, providing stability in both highly acidic and alkaline systems. It rinses easily without leaving residue and is recommended for use in liquid dishwashing detergents, vehicle cleaning, kitchen cleaners, and bathroom & shower cleaners. MACKAM® C 61 is a mild amphoteric foaming and cleansing agent that helps reduce the overall irritation in products, making it suitable as a detoxifying agent in baby shampoos. It is compatible with anionic, non-ionic, and most cationic systems, and it enhances flash foaming while improving foam stability in formulations. MACKAM® C 61 is non-toxic, biodegradable, and can also be used in household and industrial cleaners. MACKAM® C2M CONC NP MB is one of the mildest amphoteric surfactants in its class, suitable for personal care and industrial, home & hygiene applications. In personal care formulations like shampoos, bubble baths, and body cleansers, it provides excellent foaming performance, unaffected by water hardness, soap, grease, or pH variations. In baby and adult non-irritating shampoos, it leaves hair with a pleasant feel and improves wet and dry combing with minimal need for additional conditioning agents. MACKAMIDE® CMA is a 1:1 coconut monoethanolamide, which is designed for use in household and cosmetic preparations. MACKAMIDE® CMA will help enhance the viscosity response of the formulation while also stabilizing the foam. MACKAMIDE® CMA has very low residual free amine and is a suitable replacement for diethanolamides. MACKAM® LHS E is a fatty alkyl hydroxysultaine, ideal for industrial, household, and hair & body care formulations. It is a biodegradable, high-foaming surfactant with excellent stability in both extreme acidic and alkaline conditions. As a permanently zwitterionic surfactant, MACKAM® LHS E is compatible with nearly all other surfactants and can be solubilized at 2-3% in 30-40% caustic soda solution. Unlike similar amido-functional sultaines, MACKAM® LHS E is highly stable in both acid and alkali, resisting hydrolysis degradation.
