MACKAM® 50 OC is a high active grade of Cocamidopropyl Betaine made from a low color and odor, vegetable feedstock. It is about 25% more concentrated than typical grades of CAPB which makes it hostile to microbial growth, eliminating the need for a preservative. MACKAM® 50 OC exhibits excellent stability over a broad pH range and it is compatible with both anionic & cationic surfactants. MACKAM® 50 OC is used in oral care applications, especially when milder alternatives to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) are required, or when SLS is incompatible with the actives in the formulation. MACKAM® DP 122 is a high foaming amphoteric surfactant and is suggested for systems where sodium chloride would be detrimental to the performance of the final product or would cause corrosion problems. MACKAM® DP 122 is stable over the entire pH range and is used as a detergent and hydrotrope in high electrolyte systems. The product finds use in mild surfactant systems as well as in hard surface cleaners. It produces a heavy wet foam that finds use in fire fighting applications. MACKAM® DP 122 helps wetting and solubilisation in systems containing phosphate and polyphosphates. MACKAMINE® LO-SPECIAL is a lauramine oxide that provides excellent foam boosting and foam stability. MACKAMINE® LO-SPECIAL is compatible with most surfactants, contains no amide or ester groups and will not hydrolyze in acid systems. MACKAM® HPC 32 L is a high purity amphoteric, preservative free, surfactant that is suggested as a mild component for personal care or industrial products. MACKAM® HPC 32 L has a higher actives/solids ratio than traditional amphoterics, which makes this product extremely cost-effective. In personal cleansing formulations such as baby shampoo or body wash, MACKAM® HPC 32 L provides rich foam, has low irritation properties, and is non-defatting. DeTERIC™ LP is a versatile, high foaming amphoteric surfactant which finds use in a wide variety of HI&I cleaning formulations. MACKAMINE® 654 is a pure decylamine oxide that provides detergency with low to moderate foaming properties. It is compatible with most surfactants and because it contains no amide or ester groups MACKAMINE® 654 will not hydrolyze in acid systems. MACKAMINE® MY is a light colored amine oxide that provides good foam boosting and foam stability. MACKAMINE® MY is compatible with most surfactants and because there are no amide or ester groups, MACKAMINE® MY will not hydrolyse in acid systems. It is also stable in alkaline products and hypochlorite. Amine oxides can be formulated with anionic, nonionic, and cationic products and are mildly cationic under acidic conditions. Being somewhat higher in molecular weight than Lauramine Oxide, MACKAMINE® MY provides greater viscosity building properties and finds use especially in thickened bleach systems. The higher molecular weight amine oxides provide softness and conditioning properties in Personal Care products. MACKAM® 2W is an amphoteric surfactant made from natural wheat germ oil. Based on natural C-18 triglycerides, these higher molecular weight chains make it even more mild to both skin and eyes than a C12 derived amphoacetate. MACKAM® 2W is an excellent conditioning agent for both hair and skin care products. When combined with anionic surfactants, MACKAM® 2W will typically provide good lather and will help to reduce irritation. MACKAM® CB 35 MB is stable at acid /alkaline pH and with hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide. It is biodegradable, improves overall foam quality, and helps improve formulation mildness. MACKAM® 50 SB is a high performance zwitteronic surfactant that has excellent lime soap dispersing properties and is stable over a wide pH range. It is compatible with anionic, nonionic, amphoteric and cationic surfactants. This grade of cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine has a particularly low color and odor. MACKAM® 50 SB exhibits high foaming even in high electrolyte solutions. When compared to cocamidopropyl betaine, MACKAM® 50 SB exhibits better flash foam and viscosity building characteristics with lauryl sulfates and alpha olefin sulfonates. MACKAM® 50 SB is produced from a high grade of purified, hydrogenated coco fatty acid and is fully biodegradable. It is stable over the entire pH range in both hard and soft water. MACKAM® Ultra L-32E is an ultra pure aqueous solution of an amphoteric surfactant, imidazoline derivative from a lauric base. For baby and adult mild rinse-off products, it helps to reduce irritancy properties of anionic sulfate surfactants. MACKAM® Ultra L-32E shows exceptional foam quality in blends with anionic sulfates when compared to other amphoterics and foaming performance is not affected by the hardness of water or changes of pH. It is efficient even in the presence of sebum. MACKAM® Ultra L-32E has synergy with conditioning polymers that leads to an increased deposition. It foams well and rapidly to give stable foam even in the presence of soap in foam baths. It can be used as a gentle cleansing agent in skin cleansers and liquid soaps. MACKAM® HPL 28 is an amphoteric surfactant that is suggested for personal care and industrial applications where mildness is a main requirement. MACKAM® HPL-28 is an optimized amphoteric based on a pure lauric source. MACKAM® LMB K MB is a high-performance amphoteric surfactant that is stable over a wide pH range and is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants. MACKAM® LMB K MB is a good foamer, even in high electrolyte solutions. When formulated with anionic surfactants, it shows a marked increase in viscosity along with increased flash foam.
