- Usage Information
- A typical formulation for a finished products based on INC 1479 would consist of blending 13.75 gallons of product into 10 gallons of IPA, topping off a drum with water.
- On occasion, slightly more IPA may be necessary depending on your water.
- INC 1479 is an oil dispersible filming amine with very high dispersibility in water.
- In brine water, in the presence of hydrocarbons, formulations based on INC 1479 will deposit a persistent inhibitor film.
- Finished products based on INC 1479 have been successfully used to continuously treat producing oil wells in the Permian Basin with mild to moderate corrosion environments. INC 1479 may also be used to formulate gas and crude oil pipeline corrosion inhibitors.
- When atomized into a gas pipeline, these formulations will effectively control the corrosion attack on the metal surfaces, as well as form stable dispersions in produced fluids which may accumulate in low spots.
- As noted above, these formulations are very effective cleaners, aiding in solids control, and removal of some adherences which may cause additional corrosion problems related to under-deposit corrosion.
- Suggested treatment dosage is 35 to 60 ppm of finished product based on the total fluid produced by the well in question.
- Following is a graph of a corrosion wheel test carried out with some of Verdant Energy Solutions’s products.
