    Usage Information
    • INC 1895 Surfactant Intermediate is a concentrated liquid which is stable in acids, intermediates, and salts. INC 1895 Surfactant Intermediate is soluble in heavy brines as well as fresh water, is an effective emulsifier, wetting agent, coupling agent, dispersant, penetrant, and anti-static agent.
    • INC 1895 Surfactant Intermediate may be added to oil soluble downhole corrosion inhibitor formulations to aid in enhancing the dispersibility of the finished product in produced brines, effectively aiding the corrosion inhibitor to lay down a more consistent film, and reducing “gunking”.
    • Typical formulations may call for up to 2 gallons of INC 1895 Surfactant Intermediate per drum of finished product, depending on the customer’sevaluations for desired dispersibility.
    • INC 1895 Surfactant Intermediate may also be diluted in water to formulate water-based surfactants for use in increasing injectivity of injection or disposal waters, and reducing injection pressures of water injection systems.
    • Given the characteristics of INC 1895 Surfactant Intermediate, it may be necessary to dilute it in 5 gallons of Methanol or Isopropanol prior to the addition of water, as it will tend to gel upon direct dilution into water.
