INC 2217 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate is a specialty phosphonate designed for treatment of oilfield water systems with tendencies towards deposition of divalent cation scales. INC 2217 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate may be used to formulate finished products to aid in inhibiting the formation and subsequent deposition of Calcium and Magnesium Carbonate salts, along with Calcium, Barium and Strontium Sulfate. Formulations based on INC 2217 Scale Inhibitor Intermediate will tolerate moderate amounts of Calcium in solution.

Functions: Scale Inhibitor Intermediate

Chemical Family: Phosphonates

End Uses: Corrosion Inhibitor, Oilfield Water Systems, Scale Inhibitor

Synonyms: DETPM, Diethylenetriaminepenta(methylenephosphonic acid) sodium salt
