MACKAMIDE® AME-100 is an effective humectant for skin and hair care formulations. In lotion formulas, it provides moisturization similar to glycerin but without the tacky feel. Over time, it increases the water-holding capacity of the stratum corneum, delivering long-lasting moisturizing effects. When used in shampoos, MACKAMIDE® AME-100 enhances conditioning properties, improving wet combability, natural hair shine, manageability, and controlling flyaways. Storage Conditions
  • Mackamide® AME-100 should be stored in sealed containers below 30°C in a dry place out of direct sunlight. Handle between 25°C – 35°C. If material becomes hazy after exposure to cold, gently heat to 35oC and mix before use. Avoid prolonged exposure to heating as this may lead to degradation.
