MACKAM® OIP 40 is a 40% active aqueous solution of low molecular weight salt-free amphoteric surfactant. It effectively couples nonionic surfactants in systems with high electrolyte levels. This low foaming product offers good detergency in high cloud point systems and is soluble in ethanolic and isopropanolic solutions, as well as water, providing significant wetting contact angle reduction. MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB is a light coloured, yet economic grade of Cocamidopropyl Betaine. It is based on a fully hydrogenated fatty source, has no unsaturation and its colour and odour are minimized. MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB provides excellent viscosity building and foam boosting to anionic based cleansers. In shampoo formulations it contributes to hair ‘manageability’. MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB is stable and efficacious over a broad pH range and is compatible with anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants. It contributes to mildness and is readily biodegradable.
