MACKACIDE™ PQ 60 is a non-foaming, non-wetting biocide used as an algaecide in swimming pools and cooling water systems. It is long-lasting, non-volatile, odorless, and non-corrosive to water systems. In swimming pools, it is compatible with common bactericides and effectively targets most algae types. Verdant Specialty Solutions supports the active ingredient through the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) review program for Product Type 2 (disinfectants) and Type 11 (preservatives for liquid cooling systems). MACKACIDE™ PQ 60 is listed on Article 95, with Verdant Specialty Solutions as an authorized supplier.
