MACKAM® HPC 32 L is a high-purity, preservative-free amphoteric surfactant designed for mild personal care and industrial products. With a higher actives/solids ratio than traditional amphoterics, it is highly cost-effective. In personal cleansing formulations, such as baby shampoos and body washes, MACKAM® HPC 32 L provides rich foam, has low irritation properties, and is non-defatting. Its stability across a wide pH range also makes it ideal for industrial applications, including liquid dishwashing and hard surface cleaners. MACKAM® C 37 HP is a high-purity grade of cocamidopropyl betaine with a stripped alkyl distribution. It is stable over a wide pH range and compatible with anionic, nonionic, and cationic surfactants. This product offers exceptionally low and stable color, along with minimal residual odor. Compared to MACKAM® 35 and other standard grades of cocamidopropyl betaine, MACKAM® C 37 HP provides improved flash foam and viscosity building, particularly with lauryl sulfates, alpha olefin sulfonates, and other anionic-based formulations. MACKAMINE® LA is a vegetable-derived grade of lauramine oxide that offers excellent foam boosting and foam stability. It is compatible with most surfactants and, due to the absence of amide or ester groups, will not hydrolyze in acidic systems. MACKAMINE® LA is also stable in highly alkaline products and in the presence of hypochlorite bleach. MACKAM® C 37B is a high-purity grade of cocamidopropyl betaine with a refined alkyl distribution. It remains stable and effective over a broad pH range and is compatible with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants. MACKAM® C 37B offers exceptionally low and stable color and minimal residual odor. Compared to MACKAM® 35UL and other standard cocamidopropyl betaine grades, it provides superior flash foam and viscosity-building properties with lauryl sulfates, lauryl ether sulfates, and alpha olefin sulfates in anionic-based systems. MACKAMINE® C 8 is a pure octyldimethylamine oxide that offers good wetting and very low foaming characteristics. Compatible with most surfactants, it contains no amide or ester groups, ensuring it will not hydrolyze in acidic systems. MACKAMINE® C 8 is also stable in highly alkaline and strong electrolyte systems, making it useful in industrial cleaners as a detergent and hydrotrope. DeTHOX™ 25-9 is a 9-mole ethoxylate of C12-15 alcohols, soluble in water and stable in both aqueous acidic and alkaline solutions. It is compatible with most anionic, amphoteric, and cationic surfactants. DeTHOX™ 25-9 is used in various home and industrial formulations, functioning as an emulsifier, detergent, wetting agent, and a replacement for NPE. MACKAMIDE® C is produced from a 1:1 reaction of pure coconut oil, containing a small amount of residual glycerin. It is a high-active, readily biodegradable liquid at room temperature, facilitating easy handling during manufacturing. MACKAMIDE® C has a low free diethanolamine content, compliant with the European directive on residual diethanolamine in alkanolamides for personal care products. MACKPEARL® SSO-K is a liquid pearling agent designed for easy dispersibility at ambient temperature, providing an immediate silky pearl shine to shampoos, body washes, and other surfactant formulations. It is diethanolamide-free and can be added with moderate agitation to achieve the desired pearlescence, viscosity, and stability. Usage levels range from 1-8% depending on the desired pearl effect. MACKAM® 2CSF is a mild amphoteric surfactant suitable for both personal care and industrial applications. In personal care products, it is used to couple conditioning agents in shampoos. Its ability to incorporate non-ionic surfactants into high electrolyte levels makes it ideal for industrial cleaners. MACKAM® 2CSF is recommended for formulations where sodium chloride could negatively impact product performance or cause corrosion. It is stable across a broad pH range and is the surfactant of choice for high-electrolyte systems. MACKAM® 2CSF is listed on the EPA’s Inert Ingredients list under its chemical designation. MACKAM® BB/FLA is a high foaming betaine surfactant that demonstrates excellent stability properties over broad pH ranges. Typically it is used as a secondary surfactant in anionic based systems. DeTAINE™ PB is a versatile, readily biodegradable alkyl (C16) betaine that produces dense, creamy foam. It enhances viscosity in both sulfate-free surfactants and commonly used sulfates. Its anti-static properties provide a softer after-feel to skin and hair in personal care cleansing products. The product does not contain ethanol. MACKAM® BC 39 is a cold process form of Cocamide MEA delivered in a Cocamidopropyl Betaine system, with a 1:4 ratio of Cocamide MEA to Cocamidopropyl Betaine on a 100% basis. It can serve as the sole secondary surfactant system or be used to easily incorporate additional Cocamide MEA for formulation adjustments.
