MACKAM® CAB 818U is a very light-colored, cost-effective grade of cocamidopropyl betaine, derived from a fully hydrogenated fatty source, ensuring no unsaturation and minimized color and odor. It provides excellent viscosity building and foam boosting in anionic-based cleansers and enhances hair manageability in shampoo formulations. MACKAM® CAB 818U is stable across a broad pH range and compatible with both anionic and cationic surfactants. It contributes to mildness, is biodegradable, and is self-preserving, requiring no added preservative due to its high pH.
