MACKAM® OIP 40 is a 40% active aqueous solution of low molecular weight salt-free amphoteric surfactant. It effectively couples nonionic surfactants in systems with high electrolyte levels. This low foaming product offers good detergency in high cloud point systems and is soluble in ethanolic and isopropanolic solutions, as well as water, providing significant wetting contact angle reduction. MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB is a light coloured, yet economic grade of Cocamidopropyl Betaine. It is based on a fully hydrogenated fatty source, has no unsaturation and its colour and odour are minimized. MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB provides excellent viscosity building and foam boosting to anionic based cleansers. In shampoo formulations it contributes to hair ‘manageability’. MACKAM® CAB 818 A MB is stable and efficacious over a broad pH range and is compatible with anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants. It contributes to mildness and is readily biodegradable. MACKERNIUM® HQ-1000 is a polymeric quaternary ammonium salt of hydroxyethyl cellulose that offers moderate viscosity building. MACKAM® 50 SB is a high-performance zwitterionic surfactant with excellent lime soap dispersing properties and stability across a wide pH range. This cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine grade has low color and odor, providing high foaming, even in high electrolyte solutions. Compared to cocamidopropyl betaine, MACKAM® 50 SB offers better flash foam and viscosity building with lauryl sulfates and alpha olefin sulfonates. Made from purified, hydrogenated coco fatty acid, it is fully biodegradable and stable in both hard and soft water. This glycerin-free surfactant is ideal for mild shampoos, high-foaming bath products, and liquid soaps. MACKAM® LHS E is a fatty alkyl hydroxysultaine, ideal for industrial, household, and hair & body care formulations. It is a biodegradable, high-foaming surfactant with excellent stability in both extreme acidic and alkaline conditions. As a permanently zwitterionic surfactant, MACKAM® LHS E is compatible with nearly all other surfactants and can be solubilized at 2-3% in 30-40% caustic soda solution. Unlike similar amido-functional sultaines, MACKAM® LHS E is highly stable in both acid and alkali, resisting hydrolysis degradation.
