Chemically classified as an alkoxylated carboxylate, it is suitable only for alkaline systems and is not recommended for use in acidic systems. DePHOS™ 8028 is an anionic 80% active, potassium salt of ethoxylated, phosphated 2-ethylhexanol with CAS# 68238-84-6. This low- to-moderate foaming, multifunctional phosphate ester exhibits a wide variety of properties including multi-metal corrosion inhibition, lubricity, detergency, wetting, hydrotroping, and scale inhibition. DeTERIC™ CP-Na-38 is a high-foaming, modified C8-12 sodium salt of carboxylated propionate. It is an amphoteric surfactant stable across a wide pH range, suitable for acid, neutral, and alkaline formulations.
