DePHOS™ 8038 is the acid form of an anionic phosphate ester-based surfactant. It is dispersible in water but becomes fully soluble when neutralised. In aqueous solutions DePHOS™ 8038 exhibits excellent wetting and dispersing properties and, when neutralised with amines and alkanolamines, has good corrosion inhibiting properties for ferrous metals. It also acts as a low foam detergent and wetting agent stable in alkaline solutions. In both aqueous and non-aqueous applications DePHOS™ 8038 acts as a dispersant and anti-wear additive. DeTHOX™ NPE-6 is a 6-mole ethoxylate of nonylphenol, offering excellent emulsifying properties for oils and aromatic solvents, along with wetting capabilities. DePHOS™ QSA-90 is a 75% active, high-foaming anionic phosphate ester in free acid form. It provides economical surfactant properties, including detergency, emulsification, and wetting, and can be used as a 1:1 replacement for more expensive 100% active phosphate esters. DeIONIC™ LF-60 is a low-foaming, low HLB nonionic alkoxylated alcohol with excellent wetting and dispersing properties. It can achieve a dynamic surface tension of less than 30 dynes/cm² with a 0.1% concentration in water. DeIONIC™ LF-60 is soluble in water below 14°C, alcohols, glycols, and most solvents, while being dispersible in water above 18°C and insoluble in most oils. DeTERGE™ LF-28 is a line of low-foaming surfactants known for their excellent wetting and detergency, making them suitable as primary surfactants. They are highly stable in alkaline environments, potentially eliminating the need for hydrotropes. These biodegradable, phenol-free, and phosphate-free surfactants are environmentally friendly. As modified carboxylates, DeTERGE™ LF-28 is recommended for formulations with caustic and alkaline electrolytes, though they are typically not suited for acidic systems, with the exception of DeTERGE™ LF-7315. MACKAMINE® MY is a light-colored amine oxide that offers good foam boosting and foam stability. It is compatible with most surfactants and, due to the absence of amide or ester groups, will not hydrolyze in acidic systems. MACKAMINE® MY is also stable in alkaline products. This amine oxide can be formulated with anionic, nonionic, and cationic products, exhibiting mild cationic properties under acidic conditions. With a higher molecular weight than lauramine oxide, MACKAMINE® MY provides enhanced viscosity-building properties and is particularly effective in thickened hypochlorite systems.
