MACKAMINE® MY is a light-colored amine oxide that offers good foam boosting and foam stability. It is compatible with most surfactants and, due to the absence of amide or ester groups, will not hydrolyze in acidic systems. MACKAMINE® MY is also stable in alkaline products. This amine oxide can be formulated with anionic, nonionic, and cationic products, exhibiting mild cationic properties under acidic conditions. With a higher molecular weight than lauramine oxide, MACKAMINE® MY provides enhanced viscosity-building properties and is particularly effective in thickened hypochlorite systems. The higher molecular weight also contributes softness and conditioning benefits in personal care products Please submit a document request or general inquiry form if you’d like to access an SDS in another language.

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • Store in sealed containers below 30°C in a dry place out of direct sunlight. If material becomes hazy after exposure to cold gently heat to 35°C and mix before use.
  • Handle between 15°C – 60°C. Avoid prolonged exposure to heating as this may lead to degradation.
