When compared to lauramidopropyl betaine, it offers superior flash foam and viscosity building with lauryl sulfates and alpha olefin sulfonates. Derived from high-grade lauric acid, MACKAM® LSB 50 is fully biodegradable and stable across the entire pH range in both hard and soft water. It has excellent lime soap dispersing properties, making it ideal for formulating mild shampoos, high-foaming bath products, and liquid soaps. Lower alkyl chain products provide good foam boosting and stabilization, while higher molecular weight amine oxides offer softness and conditioning.
