MACKERNIUM® CTAC 30 is a liquid quaternary ammonium salt that functions as a conditioning agent and surfactant in personal care products. It is highly valued in hair care for its anti-static, anti-frizz, and detangling properties, making it effective in conditioners, shampoos, and anti-frizz products. Particularly beneficial in hair conditioners and masks, cetrimonium chloride is compatible with nonionic and cationic surfactants and most polar solvents. With excellent emulsifying properties, MACKERNIUM® CTAC 30 can be used as a cationic emulsifier in skin care creams and lotions. It is deemed safe for use in rinse-off products at concentrations up to 10% and in leave-on products up to 0.25%. MACKAZOLINE® TD 80 is an imidazoline compound based on the reaction product of tall oil fatty acid (TOFA) and diethylenetriamine (DETA). MACKAZOLINE® TD 80 is an active material in products used as adhesion promoters for bitumen and aggregates in asphalt, and other roofing and construction applications. MACKAZOLINE® TD 80 also provides corrosion inhibition, emulsification, and lubrication properties to lubricants, and HI&I applications. MACKAZOLINE® TD 80 has use in oil soluble and water dispersible formulations as a corrosion inhibitor and emulsifier in metalworking applications.
